In March 2009, two 42m catamaran ferries built by Afai Southern and Damen Shipyards Group were delivered to Singapore. These two luxury high-speed catamaran ferries have entered into service on the route between Singapore and the island of Bintan. The overall length: 41.8m ; breadth 11.5m ; designed carrying capacity: 312 passengers; speed at full load: 38.9knots. As the advanced design and the excellent construction, these ferries are more stable and comfortable during sailing. BV and the owner are satisfied with the high quality. These two vessels have good reputations for styling appearance, elegant interior outfitting, and unique comprehensive performance.
