We are glad to announce that Ci Tong Zhi Xing, a 40m 199pax aluminum coastal catamaran fast ferry, was launched successfully on 25th December 2019, which was designed, developed and built by Afai Southern Shipyard to Fujian Quanzhou Maritime Passenger Transport Co., Ltd.

   Ci Tong Zhi Xing is one of the mature type of AFAI design, with LOA 40.15m, molded beam 9m, molded depth 3.4m and designed draft 1.35m. She was designed to have good seakeeping and maneuverability, less wave making at bow and stern, low vibration noise, strong resistance against wind and wave, high safety and low fuel consumption, which largely increase her navigation efficiency and reduce operation cost of customer.

    After delivery, Ci Tong Zhi Xing will be the first fast ferry in maritime passenger transport of Quanzhou City in Fujian Province and a beautiful scenery in the navigation route from Quanzhou Shijing to Taiwan Jinmen Mushui, the most shining star on the sea of Quanzhou. Afai Southern Shipyard will strive to deliver a product with high quality, high technology and high cost-efficiency in accordance with the rules and shipowner’s requirements.

    The representatives involved in this project witnessed the launching, including the Director of Board of shipowner Mr. Shi Jianxi, General Manager Mr. Shi Weicheng, Vice General Manager Mr. Wang Jianwen and Mr. Lv Jianrong, Vice Director of CCS Guangzhou Mr. Ding Guoquan, Vice General Manager of Afai Southern Shipyard Mr. Qiu Shuquan.
