We are glad to announce that Xin Shi Su No.1 & No.2 were launched successfully in Afai Southern Shipyard relatively on 26th and 27th of November 2019, which were built by AFAI for Guangdong Water Bus Co., Ltd.

The representatives involved in this project witnessed the launching, including the general manager Mr. Chen Yu, representative of shipowner, the Director Mr. Zhen Nan, representative of CCS Guangzhou, the general manager Mr. Wang Haohan, representative of supervisor CCSI and the general manager Mr. Chen Xiaoliang, representative of Afai Southern Shipyard.

This project consists two aluminum fast passenger ferries, with LOA 40m, molded beam 9m, molded depth 3.4m and design speed 31.5 knots, which are designed, developed and built independently by Afai Southern Shipyard. We also achieve magnificent design and construction plan, because from contract signed on 26th Feb 2019, design approval, construction to launching only lasts 9 months. What’s more, the propulsion system, electrical system and interior decoration are mostly installed when launching, which recorded the fastest construction time among this type of ferries built by Afai Southern Shipyard.

Besides the recorded speed of construction, we will guarantee the construction quality with reasonable plan and good organization of mooring tests and trials. We strive for fast delivery with high quality, such that provide safe and convenient public water transport for GBA.
